- New Mobile Battery Drain Open

I purchased a new smartphone in January **** along with an original charger. From the very first day of use, the device started showing abnormal battery drain. Even when the phone was kept idle, the battery percentage kept dropping unusually fast.
After contacting customer support multiple times and following their instructions such as full charging, factory reset, software checks, and system updates, the issue still remained unresolved. The continuous usage battery backup has been limited to only a few hours under normal use, without any gaming or heavy applications.
Later, additional problems such as device hanging and extremely slow charging also started appearing. The phone was inspected at the authorized service center, where it was suggested that the issue was software-related and an update would fix it. However, even after updates and reset procedures, no improvement was observed.
A formal consumer complaint was also submitted, but the matter was closed without providing any effective solution or proper support. Due to repeated defects, unresolved service response, and loss of trust in the product’s reliability, I am now seeking a full refund for the defective device.
I request appropriate action and resolution at the earliest.
