- Refund of Airline Ticket ^Open

Subject:- Refund of Air Astana Business Class Flight ticket from New Delhi to Astana and return dt. **th March **** PNR No.
*. I had, on **/**/****, booked Air Astana Business Class Flight ticket from New Delhi to Astana on **th March **** and return dt. **th March **** in the name of Amita Wahal Chhabra (U.S. Citizen Passport number: A********). The total amount paid was Rs. **,***.
*. I was scheduled to fly from Dallas to New Delhi and then from New Delhi to Almaty. However, due to the ongoing middle-east War, the flight from Dallas to New Delhi on Ethiad Airways (Ref. No. A*C*DE) has been cancelled and subsequently I had to cancel the flight from New Delhi to Almaty and return.
*. I duly informed GOTOGATE who offered me a refund of Rs. **,*** –Rs. **,*** as Airline Fees Rs. *,*** INR as Gotogate handling fee which sums up to **,*** INR. However, Gotogate wrongly calculated this to **,***.** INR and refunded me Rs. **,***.**.
*. I contacted Gotogate several times pointing out their calculation mistake but they have not cooperated at all.
*. I contacted Air Astana but they they told me to contact Gotogate.
*. It is pertinent to mention here that my husband, Mr. Sarinder Chhabra, who was also travelling with me, had booked the same flight (Booking No. *QSI*J Ticket No. *** ***** *****) directly from Air Astana for Rs. **,*** and on the same terms has got a refund of Rs. **,***.
*. I would request to contact Gotogate to refund the full amount of the ticket and also compensate for the unnecessary harassment caused to me.
